- Midtown District Plan Analysis
0.42 MB The Midtown District Plan is a planning document that will drive the transition of Midtown from a “relatively new and rapidly growing business district into a compact, mixed use employment center consistent with the vision of the” Anchorage 2020 Anchorage Bowl Comprehensive Plan. (The Midtown District can be viewed in its entirety at www.midtownplan.com/Welcome.html.) Although the goal is noble, BOMA Anchorage has carefully reviewed the Midtown District Plan and believes this plan: creates significant property rights violations, leads to lower property values, and discourages new development and redevelopment of land.
